I’m not sure how much I want to say about myself at the moment. I think I’ll just keep this anonymous for a while, on the basis that if I change my mind, I can always add more about me, but if I start by saying who I am, it’s harder to go back. Anyway, I guess I can say that I’m I’m 26, I live in Galway, and I have a beautiful girlfriend from Sligo. I’ve been interested in politics for years, and I’m pretty opinionated, so I guess it’s about time I set up a blog to let some of my opinions loose. Especially as the aformentioned girlfriend is getting sick of my rants! Politically, I’m an economically conservative right wing liberal, which works for me, but apparently seems like a strange mix to a lot of people. Especially the Irish political parties.  So expect most, if not all of them, to get a bashing at some point here.

I’ve set this up mostly so I can do my political rants, but I can be quite impulsive, so I guess posts may appear about sport, music etc. at some point. For the record, I’m obsessive about Radiohead, and listen mostly to guitar music, but I’ll give most things a try. I’m a big hurling fan, which is awkward, seeing as how I’m from County Antrim; I’m not such a big fan of the football but I’ll watch it. I don’t follow any English soccer teams, but I do go to Galway United games when I can and I’m a long-distance fan of Inter Milan. I play softball with the Galway Hookers and kinda follow the Boston Red Sox. My favourite TV series’ are The West Wing and 24, but you’ll also catch me watching House, Scrubs, The Simpsons, Futurama, and, well, too many others to name. Mostly on DVD box sets. My film taste is very random, let’s say I like good films – anything from Garden State to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Schindler’s List, Silence of the Lambs, and James Bond. Anyway, if you even vaguely know me outside of this, you’ll just have realised exactly who I am, so I’ve compromised my anonymity enough!
